Note
The prompt at the top of the drop-down box indicates the part of the address
expected for the current stage of the search. This varies from country to country. The
partial-address section at the bottom of the drop-down box displays the parts of the
address entered so far.
Some countries do not include premise information. This can be entered anyway but
will not be validated.
Field Statuses
The way that fields are displayed on the screen indicates the current status of the
field. These statuses are listed below.

Yellow background
Figure 5-46. Mandatory Field
No data has been captured for this field. It is a
mandatory field, so some data must be entered
before this page can be completed.
White background
Figure 5-47. Optional Field
This is an optional field, so it is not necessary to
enter data before the page is completed.
Contains data but is disabled
Figure 5-48. Disabled Field
Valid data has been already captured and the
field has been initially disabled so you can
navigate quickly around the other fields. To
enable and edit these fields use the Edit ICR
Fields command.
Pink background

Some data was captured for this field, but it did
not pass the validation tests applied when the
data was loaded. When this field is first edited,
the rejected data is displayed on the status bar in
the message section.
Blue background

This is an automatically duped field. The data for
this field has been automatically copied from the
previous document.
