Status and Example Description
Green background
Figure 5-51. Field has an Exception
This field has an exception. This means you can
enter any data in the field, even data which does
not pass the field validation rules. A mandatory
field which is marked as an exception does not
need data entering into it.
Grey background
Figure 5-52. Read-only Field
This is a read-only field. The data in this field
cannot be changed.
Navigating Between Fields
Using Keystrokes
The keystrokes listed below enable you to move around the fields on the document
quickly and easily.

Key Stroke Function
Next Field [Tab or Down Arrow] This function moves focus to the next
enabled field on the document.
Release Field [Enter] This function moves focus to the next field
requiring attention (an empty mandatory
field or a rejected field) if there is one.
Otherwise it behaves as the Next Field
function.
Previous Field [Shift+Tab or Up Arrow] This function moves focus to the previous
field on the document.
First Field [Home] This function moves focus to the first field
on the document.
Last Field [End] This function moves focus to the last field
on the document.
Next Page [PgDn] This function moves focus to the first field
