Using Correction
Introduction
This chapter describes how to use the Correction module. Correction takes data from
Recognition and displays to the user only data that was rejected or that fails
validation. Correction works on a batch at a time and displays the rejections or
validation failures for the batch in field order, i.e. all errors for the first field, all
errors for the second and so on. The corrected data is then output together with
validation information and can be used by subsequent modules such as Completion.
Correction allows fast correction of single characters using a single keystroke and
also allows whole fields to be edited. Optional field validation scripts can be
integrated to ensure that keyed data obeys the necessary business rules.
