VII.4 Measurement in Remote Mode
Mount the R/S+ Rheometer on the stand (see Section III).
Connect the AC Adapter (see Section III).
Connect the RS232C cable between the rheometer and the PC.
Switch on the R/S+ Rheometer and select the “Remote” on the main screen.
Switch on the computer and all peripheral devices.
Start the Rheo 3000 Software.
Load a program in the Rheo 3000 Software.
Fill and mount the measuring system (see Section V).
Set the temperature control, if desired, and wait for the attainment of the desired
temperature in the measuring substance
Start the program
After running the test, switch off the temperature control. If necessary, wait until the
sample returns to a safe handling temperature.
Remove and clean the measuring system. •
