Selecting a Custom Protocol
Use the same protocol repeatedly by clicking Open in the Protocols box on the Start
Page or by clicking Open in the toolbar. You can also select recently used protocols
or image files from the lists on the Start Page.
Running a Custom Protocol
To run a custom protocol
1. Open a protocol or create a new one.
2. Place your gel on the appropriate sample tray and insert the tray into the imager
until the magnet grabs the tray.
3. Close the door.
4. Click Run Protocol in the left pane of the Protocol Setup window. The custom
protocol runs automatically.
After the protocol runs, the resulting image appears and the Protocol window
remains open behind it. The application name appears at the bottom of the gel
preview window.
