Acquisition Settings
Step 1. Gel Imaging
The Gel Imaging checkbox is already selected. The right side of the Protocol Setup
window displays Gel Imaging options.
Application Options
1.
Select an application
Click Select and choose an application from the dropdown menus.
The menus list only applications appropriate for the selected sample tray. When
you choose an application, any required filter or illumination source displays in
the Protocol Setup window.
Note:
Custom applications are available only for custom protocols. See
Setting Up a Custom Protocol on page
for more information about
custom applications.
2.
Set the image exposure
If you select the first image exposure option, Image Lab acquires an image
using the optimal exposure time. This option ensures the best use of the
dynamic range. You can automatically optimize for intense or faint bands.
If you choose Intense Bands from the menu, exposure is optimized for all
bands.
