Auxiliary Device communication
The RS-232 port on the Main Board is initially connected to the
computer that has MessageBuilder software installed. The DF1
parameters required for communicating with the computer cannot be
changed either in the Front Panel Editor or in MessageBuilder
software itself.
The RS-232 port may be set via the application to communicate with
an auxiliary device required by the control system. You may view the
settings or change them if necessary to match the communication
parameters of the auxiliary device.
