4. At the other end of the cable, cut the drain wire and foil shield

back to the cable and apply shrink wrap.

5. Connect the signal wires to the terminal block. Connect the other

end of the cable to the analog input device.

6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for each channel on the module.

TIP

See Appendix D Using Thermocouple Junctions for
additional information on wiring grounded,
ungrounded, and exposed thermocouple types.

IMPORTANT

When using an ungrounded thermocouple, the shield
must be connected to ground at the module end.
