one or two detents. After tightening the lap belt, slide the seat
forward again into the correct seating position. This will optimally
tighten the lap belt.
• Make sure the rotary buckle is well centred to the occupant’s body.
• Tighten anti-sub strap securely.
• Tighten shoulder belts securely.
• Make sure the shoulder harness is properly positioned on Head and
Neck Support (HANS
®
made by SCHROTH) if worn. Adjuster must be
on lower 70 mm of the Head and Neck Support yoke.
• For adjuster positioning using a HANS
®
specific double-shoulder belt
see instructions below under paragraph 3.5 in this section.

3.4 Webbing routing on HANS

Shoulder belts on HANS
®
must route horizontally or not more than 20°
down from the rear edge of Head and Neck Support to its anchor point.
The inner edge of the webbing must be firmly in contact with the
beginning of the HANS
®
collar to the yokes (see Photos below).
