Replacing Draper Fingers
1. Raise the hold-down fully, and engage lift cylinder
safety props.
2. Raise the header fully, and engage the combine lift
cylinder safety props.
DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before
leaving operator’s seat for any reason. A child or
even a pet could engage an idling machine.
3. Stop engine and remove key from ignition.
4. Remove the M6 flange nut (A) attaching the finger (B)
to the draper belt.
5. Remove the finger (B), and replace with new finger.
6. Install the M6 flange nut (A).
7. Torque flange nut (A) to 45–60 lbf·in (5–6.5 N·m). Hold
finger from turning while tightening nut.
