new specimen, such as turn on Specimen Protection. Typically, after you have the new specimen installed,
you do not have to adjust tuning because the properties of the specimen will not have changed.
If additional acceleration compensation or tuning is required, return to those elements in the Explorer tab
to make the necessary adjustments before creating a new test run.
Using Tools to Assist Setup
The Tools category in the Explorer tab contains the Generate Command and Manage Limits elements
to assist you in preparing for your initial and additional tests.
Generate Command
Quick access:
Explorer tab > Set Up > Tools > Generate Command
The Generate Command element is a function generator that allows you to create and execute commands
that can be used to exercise the system, learn how to use the system, or evaluate a test setup. If additional
acceleration compensation or tuning is required, return to those elements in the Explorer tab and make
necessary adjustments before creating a new test run.
