NOTE:
Coat the cylinder rods with grease to prevent the
rods from rusting if the machine will be stored
outside or for a prolonged period of time.

If your machine is equipped with hydraulic
adjustable coulters, (Refer to Figure 12b). --
•install the 3 x 8 cylinder, ports up, with the pins
furnished with the cylinder.
The base end of the cylinder attaches to the
lug on the frame.
•Screw the 90° hydraulic fitting into the base end
port pointing to the rod end of cylinder.
•Attach the 160” hoses to these fittings .
MOUNT CYLINDERS
Now install the 3-1/2 x 16 transport cylinder. (Refer
to Figure 12a).
•Use the pin furnished with the cylinder to attach
the base end of the cylinder to the lug on the
center of the frame.
•Attach the rod end between the arms on the
rockshaft with a 1-1/4 x 6-13/16 long pin,
flat washers, and 1/4 x 2” roll pins.
•Screw straight fittings into cylinder valve ports.
Attach the 160” hoses to these fittings. The
hoses go directly up to tractor. Install straight
fittings and male tractor tips to tractor end of
hoses. Figure 13.
•A hose holder bolts to a lug on the drawbar with
a 5/8-11 NC x 2-1/4 capscrew, flat washer, lock
washer and nut. See Figure 13.
•Hoses run directly from the cylinder up to the
tractor. (Figure 13) A hose holder is furnished
to bolt to the drawbar like the one used for the
transport cylinder hoses.
