the rockshaft. Use 2 machinery bushings and
(2) 1/4 x 2” roll pins.
• The ends of the 4 straps should overlap. Bolt
each pair of straps together with a 1/2-13 NC
x 1-1/2” capscrew, 2 flat washers, lock washer
and nut. Adjust the length of the four straps so
that the angle on the end of the lock will clear
this pin when lowered and catch it securely
when raised. Now tighten the
1/2-13 NC x 1
1/2” capscrews
holding the 4 straps together.
• Install the transport lock with a 1-1/4 x 5-3/8”
pin, two machinery bushings, and (2) 1/4 x 2”
roll pins. Note that the leg of the angle that
stops on the pin is down.
• Slide the handle underneath the transport
lock and bolt (2) 7J-661 straps to the tube
end of the handle. Use a 1/2-13 NC x 4-1/2”
capscrew and lock nut. Bolt through the round
holes on the straps. Do not draw up tight as
this must pivot.
• Bolt the other 2 straps to the transport lock
using a 1/2-13 NC x 4” capscrew and lock
nut, using the hole in the transport lock. Put
the capscrew through the round holes on the
straps but do not draw up tight as this must pivot.
• Install the lock pin (1-1/4 x 6 13/16) into the
lower of the two holes in the cylinder arms on
HHCS, 1/2-13 NC x 1-1/2”
