Connection of earpiece
Use the earpiece supplied with the announcer and the included cable with telephone
terminals.
Testing
Test the function by connecting the earpiece, and via (hold down for more than
2s) you enter the voice menu. If the earpiece is not functional, the voice menu will be
played from the announcer’s speaker.
Configuration of volume
Open the protective door on the announcer, and using the trimmer adjust the required
volume.
Warning
The connection of the announcer to a different wire, for example to a
higher voltage, will result in its damage or destruction.
Polarity must be adhered to or the announcer will not work.
Caution
The announcer is powered from the CU via a 2-wire bus. Disconnection of
the announcer from the bus causes the announcer to be switched off.
Caution
If the earpiece is not connected, the announcer works in the handsfree
mode.
An earpiece of another type will not necessarily work
Caution
Using this trimmer we set the best acoustic properties, but also ensure
that there is no feedback.
The configuration of volume only works for the handsfree mode
