Roles Menu
Use the Roles menu to define what right a user with the particular role shall have in the
system. Three roles are available by default: Administrator, Technician and 2N Lift8
®
Dispatcher. These roles cannot be removed and edited. Click Create role to create a
new role to which you can assign access to functions. Refer to the table below for the
meanings of the role parameters. Press Remove to delete a role. If a user is not
allowed to view or set a menu by its role, this menu will not be displayed to it.
Caution
Make sure that the SIP line is set correctly to make the 2N Lift8
®
work properly. If the line is not correctly set or Communicator
registered, the user will be unable to log in.
Contact your LAN administrator for the SIP line settings.
