Fast-Forward / Fast-Reverse
7 Operation using the SEARCH buttons (1, ¡)
Press the SEARCH buttons (
1, ¡) during playback.
Press and hold the
¡ button to fast forward the disc; press and hold the 1
button to do fast reverse.
7 Super-Fast Search
Rotate the Jog dial while pressing one of the SEARCH buttons
(
1, ¡)
÷ Hold down the button while turning the Jog dial in the direction you wish
to search to enter fast forward or fast reverse mode.
÷ The direction of the search is determined by the direction the Jog dial is
turned. The direction of the SEARCH button is ignored.
÷ When you stop turning the Jog dial, the unit returns to playback mode.
÷ Release the SEARCH button to exit this mode.
Setting a Cue Point (*)
By setting a cue point, you can press the CUE button any time during playback to
have the unit quickly jump to the cue point and stop there in the cue pause mode.
Independent cue points can be set for CD and memory card.
7 Manual Cue
1. During playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (
3/8) to
pause playback at the point you wish to begin playback.
2. Search for the precise position of the Cue point.
¶ Using frame numbers to specify Cue points.
Cue points may be specified in 1-frame units (where 75 frames are equiva-
lent to 1 second).
Use the Jog dial or the forward or reverse SEARCH button (
1, ¡) to
advance to the desired frame. Rotating the Jog dial once causes the player
to advance or rewind 80 frames in the specified direction.
¶ Listen to the sound at the current frame to determine the Cue
point.
Turn the Jog dial slowly and then return it to just before the point from
which you wish to begin playback. (The cue point thus defined will consist
of that point diectly after the sound which can be heard during a cueing
pause.)
3. Press the CUE button when you reach the desired frame
number or hear the sound at the point from which you
wish to begin cueing.
÷ When the sound is muted and the [CUE] indicator lights up, the Cue point
will have been stored to memory.
÷ Each time a new Cue point is stored to memory, the previous Cue point will
be erased.
[Changing a Cue Point]
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
÷ The unit will return to the previously set cue point.
2. Press the SEARCH buttons (
1, ¡) to set to audible
pause mode.
3. Perform steps 2 and 3 of the section “Setting a Cue
Point”.
7 Real-time cue
During playback, press the LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE button at
the desired Cue point.
÷ This point will then be recorded as the new Cue point.
Avance rapide / Recul rapide

Appuyez sur les boutons SEARCH (
1, ¡) pendant la lecture.
Maintenez la pression sur le bouton
¡ pour déclencher une avance rapide
sur le disque; inversement, maintenez la pression sur
1 pour un recul rapide.
7 Recherche super rapide
Tournez le volant de commande en appuyant sur un des boutons
SEARCH (
1, ¡).
÷ Maintenez enfoncé le bouton en tournant le volant de commande dans le
sens où vous voulez que la recherche passe en mode rapide vers l’avant ou
vers l’arrière.
÷ Le sens de la recherche dépend du sens de rotation du volant de commande.
Le sens du bouton SEARCH est ignoré.
÷ Dès que vous cessez de tourner le volant de commande, l’appareil repasse
au mode Lecture.
÷ Relâchez le bouton SEARCH pour quitter ce mode.
Pose d’un point de repérage (*)
En posant un point de repérage, il vous suffira d’appuyez sur le bouton CUE à tout
moment de la lecture pour sauter rapidement à ce point, où l’appareil s’arrêtera en
mode Pause à repérage. Des points indépendants peuvent être posés sur un CD et
une carte mémoire.
7 Repérage manuel
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE
(
3/8) pour interrompre la lecture au point où vous
souhaitez la recommencer.
2. Recherche de la position précise d’un point de repérage.
¶ Utilisation des numéros de cadre pour spécifier les Points de
repérage.
Des Points de repérage peuvent être spécifiés en unités d’un cadre (75 ca-
dres correspondent à 1 seconde).
Servez -vous du volant de commande ou du bouton SEARCH avant ou
arrière (
1, ¡) pour passer au cadre souhaité. Une rotation du volant
de commande fait avancer ou reculer de 80 cadres dans sens spécifié.
¶ Écoutez le son au cadre actuel pour déterminer le Point de
repérage.
Tournez lentement le volant de commande, puis ramenez-le juste avant le
point à partir duquel la lecture doit commencer. (Le point de repérage ainsi
posé sera le point directement après le son audible pendant une pause à
repérage.)
3. Appuyez sur le bouton CUE lorsque vous arrivez au
numéro du cadre souhaité ou que vous entendez le son
au point à partir duquel vous souhaitez commencer le
repérage.
÷ Si le son est mis en sourdine et que le voyant [CUE] s’allume, le Point de
repérage sera mémorisé.
÷ Chaque fois qu’un nouveau Point de repérage est mémorisé, le précédent
est effacé.
[Changement d’un Point de repérage]
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
÷ L’appareil revient au Point de repérage préalablement posé.
2. Appuyez sur les boutons SEARCH (
1, ¡) pour
passer au mode Pause audible.
3. Effectuez les étapes 2 et 3 de la section “Pose d’un point
de repérage”.
7 Repérage en temps réel
Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton LOOP IN/REALTIME
CUE au Point de repérage souhaité.
÷ Ce point sera mémorisé comme nouveau Point de repérage.
