About the Konica Minolta PageScope EMS Plug-Ins
The Konica Minolta PageScope EMS Plug-Ins provide management for devices connected to
an Image Processor. Their main functions are:
•
Search the network to discover supported devices
•
Report status and alerts for each device
•
Allow the user to view and change device settings
•
Allow the user to view and change network settings
The console window has two panes. You use the Console Tree in the Tree Pane on the left to
select the information you want displayed in the Details Pane on the right.
The Tree Pane includes:
•
A Help node for instructions about using the Client to manage devices
•
A node for each individual device
Depending upon the console environment, the Tree Pane might also include:
•
A Manual Discovery node to configure additional IP address discovery
Figure 3.1 shows an example of a MetaConsole window. A Konica Minolta device node has
been opened.
