9.16 Specifying E-mail transmission settings (E-Mail TX (SMTP))
E-mail transmission (SMTP) is set.
E-Mail TX (SMTP): ON */OFF
- Whether or not to use E-mail TX (SMTP) is set.
Scan to E-mail
- ON*/OFF
SMTP Server Address: IP address and host name of SMTP server are set.
Connection Timeout: 30 - 300 (60 seconds*)
- Connection timeout is set.
Server Capacity: 1-100Mbyte / No Limit*
- The maximum capacity for 1 E-mail that can be received through SMTP server is set.
Port No.: 1 - 65535 (25*)
- The port No. is set.
SSL Setting: SMTP over SSL / Start TLS / OFF*
- Select whether or not SSL is used during Internet fax transmissions. When SSL is used, communication
information is encrypted.
If "SMTP over SSL" or "Start TLS" is selected, specify a setting for "Port Number (SSL)" (between 1 and
65535 (465*)).
SMTP Authentication: ON/OFF*
- POP Before SMTP and whether or not to carry out SMTP authentication are set.
When [ON] is set, specify the following settings
SMTP Authentication settings
POP Before SMTP Authentication: ON/OFF*
POP Before SMTP Time: 0 - 60 (5 seconds*)
* is a default value at the time of purchase.

Other settings of E-mail TX (SMTP) are not used in Internet Fax. For details, refer to the User’s Guide
[Network Scanner Operations].
The document is not divided in Internet Fax even if "Binary Division" is set to [ON].

– In the Utility mode, numbers displayed on buttons can be entered and selected with the keypad. For
[Network Settings], enter [5] with the keypad.
