Useful transmission functions

Specify the destination.

–

Advances to procedure 11 when [Book Spread] or [Separation] are specified.

Advances to procedure 12 when [Front Cover] or [Front + Back Covers] are specified.

For details regarding specifying destinations, refer to "Specifying only one destination" on
page 2-17 an d "Specifying multiple destinations (broadcast transmission)" on page 2-26.

Press [Start] key.

The original is scanned.

Scan the entire original and touch [Finish].

When [Front Cover] is selected, double-paged text original is scanned page by page after the Front
cover is scanned.

–

When [Front + Back Covers] is selected, Back cover is scanned after the Front cover and finally the
double-paged text original is scanned page by page.

Press [Start] key.

To stop the transmission, refer to "Stopping the transmission" on page 2-38.

When you cannot send a fax, refer to "Troubleshooting" on page 4-2.

The scanned original is stored in the memory as a scheduled job and transmission is started.
