6.2 Sending a fax after adjusting the density of background color
(Background Removal)
Background Removal
Background Removal is a function that adjusts the density of the background color of the original. If original
background is colored, the background of the transmission data becomes black when it is scanned. In these
cases, the original can be sent by adjusting the density of the transmission data’s background color.

Can be used in both original glass and ADF.
Sending the fax after adjusting the background

Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen.

Load the original.

Touch [Scan Settings] and then [Quality Adjustment].
