5.4.2. Choose destination location
The OmniStart setup application copies program and help files to the computer’s hard disk.
These program and help files can be used later to re-run the OmniStart setup and to provide
the user with valuable on-line help information. The default destination drive for the
OmniConnect files is C:\LanEdge\ xxx. This default location may be changed by pressing the
Browse… button and selecting a new location for setup to copy all the OmniStart setup and
configuration files. Clicking the Browse… button brings the following screen, which may be
used to select a new destination. Once a destination directory has been selected, press the
Next > button to proceed with the OmniStart setup and configuration.
The Choose Folder dialog box allows
the selection of a new destination for
the OmniConnect setup files. The new
destination may either be manually
entered or chosen via the directory
tree. Use the pull down Drives menu
to select the destination drive to select
a new directory for installation of the
OmniConnect programs. Press the
OK button once the correct directory
has been selected.
