SET SWITCH PORT RATELIMITING
Syntax
set switch port=
port
[bcastratelimiting=yes|no|on|off|true|false|enabled|
disabled]
[bcastrate=
value
]
[mcastratelimiting=yes|no|on|off|true|false|enabled|
disabled]
[mcastrate=
value
]
[unkucastratelimiting=yes|no|on|off|true|false|enabled|
disabled]
[unkucastrate=
value
]
Parameters
port
Specifies the port to be configured. You can specify
more than one port at a time, but the ports must be
of the same medium type. For example, you cannot
configure twisted pair and fiber optic ports with the
same command. Port numbers are specified in the
following format:
module ID.port number
For instructions, refer to “Port Numbers in
Commands” on page 40.
bcastratelimiting
Enables or disables rate limit for ingress broadcast
packets. The options are:
yes, on, true, enabled
Activates broadcast
packet rate limiting on the
port. The options are
equivalent. The rate limit
is set with the
BCASTRATE parameter.
no, off, false, disabled
Deactivates broadcast
packet rate limit on the
port. This is the default.
The options are
equivalent.
bcastrate
Specifies the maximum number of ingress
broadcast packets a port accepts each second. The
range is 0 to 262,134 packets. The default is
262,134 packets
