This section describes how to make or answer a call. It also
includes the features and functionality associated with
making or answering a call.

Displaying Your Phone Number
� From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings
➔
More
More ➔ About device ➔ Status.
Your phone number displays in the My phone number
field.
Phone
Use the Phone app to access the phone Keypad, Recent
calls, Favorites, and Contacts.
There are several ways to access Phone:
� From a Home screen or Apps, touch Phone.

From a Home screen, touch

Contacts ➔
Phone .
Making a Call
1. From a Home screen, touch Phone and use the
on-screen keypad to enter the number you want
to dial.
2. Touch Call to make the call.
Note: When you activate the Auto redial option in the Call
settings, the phone automatically redials up to 10 times
when the person does not answer the call or is already
on the phone. For more information, see Auto redial on
page 188.
Making an International Call
1. Touch Phone, then touch and hold .
The + character appears.
2. Use the on-screen keypad to enter the country code,
area code, and phone number.
• If you make a mistake, touch until the desired numbers
have been deleted.
3. Touch Call to make the call.
