Gmail
Send and receive email with Gmail, Google’s web-based
email.

Use this application to search not only the Internet, but also
applications and their contents on the device as well.
1. Touch

2. Use the keyboard to enter search criteria.

and speak the search criteria slowly and
clearly.
3. Suggestions display below the text entry area. Touch a
suggestion to search for that term, or touch
on the
keyboard to start the search.
Google Now
Google Now recognizes repeated actions performed on the
device (including accessing locations, repeated calendar
appointments, search queries, and more). Google Now uses
these actions to automatically send updates for user-specific
information in the form of “cards.”

Note: You must be signed in to your Google Account to use
Google Now. If not, touching
will launch a basic
Google search.
1. Press and hold the
Home Key, and then

2. Follow the prompts to set up and use Google Now.
Note: When Google Now is enabled, you can also access it by

Apps ➔ Google.
