Tap the To field and enter the recipient’s mobile number. You can add multiple
message recipients.
In the To field, tap
Add to choose a contact.
To remove a recipient, tap their name or phone number, and then tap Remove.
3. Tap the text entry field and compose your email. You can add attachments to the
message using these options:
Attach: Tap to select an item to attach to the message. Adding an attachment
converts the message to a multimedia message.
Speak input: Tap to speak your text inputs.
4. Tap
Send to send the message.
Messaging Settings
The messages settings menu lets you control options for your text and MMS messages
including message limits, size settings, and notifications.
1. From
Start, tap
Messaging.
2. Tap
more > Settings.
3. Configure message settings:
Text message backup: When enabled, text messages are saved to your Microsoft
account (available when you have a Microsoft account set up on your phone).
Automatically download MMS: When enabled, your phone automatically
downloads multimedia (MMS) messages.
Emergency alerts: Configure emergency alert settings. Tap the ON/OFF switch to
turn AMBER alerts On or Off. Tap the Emergency alerts field to choose the types of
alerts you want to receive.
