Quick Start Protecting Stored Images
Digital Still Camera Mode : Advanced Techniques
✤ The Protection function works only in (Play) mode.
✤ Selecting Protect from the MENU saves valuable images from accidental deletion.
✤ You may set a image to LOCK to protect it, or UNLOCK to cancel the protection.
1. Set the Power switch to (CAMERA).
2. Set the Mode Dial to (Play).
■ A stored image is displayed.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Move the Joystick to the left or right to select
(PROTECT).
■ The available options are listed.
ONE PIC - SELECT - ALL PICs.
5. Select the desired option by moving the Joystick up or down, then press the Joystick(OK).
■ The selected option is applied.
To Protect Current Image
✤ Select ONE PIC.
1. Move the Joystick up or down to select ONE PIC, then press the Joystick(OK).
■ The available options are displayed: LOCK or UNLOCK.
2. Move the Joystick up or down to LOCK or UNLOCK the image, then press the
Joystick(OK) to set your choice.
■ The protection ( ) icon will be displayed for locked (protected) images or protection
( ) icon disappears when it is unlocked.
