For models with Washer complete with level sensor,
the pan & tilt can also display a video message when
the level of the liquid inside the tank is too low (only
if using a high prevalence pump of the UPTWAS
series).

5.3 Germanium glass
The ULISSE with Germanium glass has been
developed for applications with thermal cameras.

5.1 Absolute positioning
(Encoder)
This system can also be equipped with incremental
encoders which guarantee a real position in any
operating condition.
5.2 Built-in Wiper
The pan & tilt can be fitted with a wiper.

5.2.1 Washer
If the pan & tilt is fitted with a wiper, it can also have
an external pump supplying water to clean the glass.
As shown in the picture, the spray to clean the glass is
outside the pan & tilt.

Once the command has been sent ("11.8 Enabling the
Washer (Washer)", page 52) the pan & tilt positions
itself with the glass facing the spray and the pump
and wiper are activated for a set period of time; at the
end of the operation the pan & tilt returns to its initial
position.
