Installation Overview
Pre-Installation Verification
1. Confirm that the cell phone modem is working on the ParaDyme Roof Module and that you have cell phone coverage. If
you are in a remote location, this may require moving closer to a cell phone tower.
2. Check if the roof module has a cell phone antenna already installed (short stubby antenna)
3. Check the general working condition of the roof module. It should be fully functional.
4. Check if an Auxiliary Harness is already being used on the roof module. The Auxiliary Harness is a short harness with four
connectors that connects to a 12-pin connector under the GPS receiver. If an auxiliary harness is already being used, you
must order a power adapter cable, PN 201-0465-01.
5. Check if you received all the parts with your Cell Booster kit before starting the installation. See the parts list on page 2.
6. Check if you have all of the necessary tools on hand to complete the installation. See tools list on Tools on page iii.
