Units: Set to the Units/Acre of application. If applying lime set
to TONS. If applying fertilizer set to POUNDS.
Ground Speed Sensor: Set to RADAR or GPS.
App Distance From GPS: Set to distance between where
product exits applicator and position of GPS antenna on vehicle.
Example: If spinner is 20 feet behind GPS antenna set to 20 ft
back.
Full Swath: Set to full spread width of applicator in feet.
Tgt Units:Contrler Units: Normally this is set to 1:1.0000. It
only pertains to using a target file. This ratio is used to convert
the units in a target file (.tgt) to the units of application.
Example: If your lime target file is in lbs/ac and you apply based
on tons/ac your ratio will be 1:0.0005.
Target Rate Increment: This determines the increment value by
which you can change the manual target rate with each press of
Up or Down arrow keys. For Lime set to 0.1. For Fertilizer set
to 10.0
Actual Rate Scale Factor:
Set to 1.000 when Units are Tons (Lime).
Set to 0.100 when Units are Pounds (Fertilizer).
NOTE: When reading the Fertilizer As-Applied data, the mapped
rate will be 1/10
th
of the actual rate because the scale factor was
set to 0.100. In Ag Leader’s SMS mapping software, the rate
can be scaled back up to the actual value. The actual rate and
total units shown on the PF3000 Pro screen will always be
correct.
2. Press CONTRLER SETTINGS key. Set the following:
Drive model: Set to model of your New Leader drive: MARKIII
or MARKIV or MARKIV ver.2 or MARKIV.4
Feed gate setting: Set to the feed gate opening in inches.
