Delete a WMS Service

To delete a WMS service, on the Service Summary screen, you can delete a service using one
of these methods:

Select the services to delete in the data grid and click on Delete or the X icon on the toolbar.

Select the services to delete in the configuration tree and right click and select the Delete
menu. The Delete menu is disabled for system-created services, because they cannot be
deleted. For R2.4 and beyond, the service can be deleted only if the service is in a stopped
state.

When you select multiple services from the grid and select the Delete option, a dialog box will
popup to confirm the delete request: Choose Yes to continue with delete or No to cancel.

Start a WMS Service

To start a WMS service, on the Service Summary screen, select the services in the data grid and
click on the Start button or the right arrow icon on the toolbar. This will start the service. Only
services that are in a stopped state are started. You can also right click on a specific service in
the configuration tree and select the Start menu to start the service. The Start menu is enabled
only if the service is in a stopped state.
