Description Triage Space Pane Part
A timeline controller that shows the elapsed time for the graphs (the
past 24–hour time period). The controller the same timeline displayed
on the Neoview view and customized views. Timeline Grid
Triage Space Settings
The Tools>Options>Triage Space Settings allow you to control the Triage Space and Live
View behavior. The settings include:
Description Setting
Allows you to specify an upper limit on the number of rows to fetch
when doing any operation to load the triage space. The default fetch
limit is 20000 rows. Fetch Limit (Triage Space only)
Sets the maximum number of data points to graph for trending
statement counters and platform performance indicators. This value
is the amount of historical information that the client keeps in memory.
This option is used for Live View. Live Range(Live View only)
Controls whether SQL statements that are transaction boundaries
(BEGIN WORK/COMMIT WORK or BEGIN TRANSACTION/END
TRANSACTION) are retrieved and displayed. Filters transaction
boundaries. This option can also be controlled from the Live View
right-click menu. Hide Transaction Bounds (Live View only)
Controls whether recently executed SQL statements (in the last minute)
are also downloaded and displayed along with currently running
queries as per the repository. This option can also be controlled from
the Live View right-click menu. Hide Completed Queries (Live View only)
This screen shows the Triage Space Settings portion of the Tools>Options dialog, which
allows you to adjust Triage Space and Live View settings.
Switching Repositories
The Neoview Performance Analyzer tool provides the ability to switch repositories on the fly
through the Tools>Options screen. This allows you to view both current system repository
information as well as archived information. You can also enter a custom (archived) repository
schema name in the text box. The Triage Space uses the Repository.
This screen shows the Repository View Settings portion of the Tools>Options dialog, which
allows you to change repositories on the fly.
