Integrated Management Display
The Integrated Management Display (IMD) is an integrated 16x4 character display
mounted on the front of the server. This display provides easy-to-use, menu-driven
access to server information. The following sections supply information about
configuring, navigating, and using the IMD menus.
Configuring the Integrated Management Display
The IMD can be configured to display a variety of menus that you can customize to
meet your specific needs. This section describes several different methods to
configure and customize the IMD.
Setup with the ROM-Based Setup Utility
Use the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU) to configure the IMD.
NOTE: Some operating systems allow for online IMD configuration. Refer to the SmartStart
CD for more information.
