RM-Lite is a simpler version of this software that is bundled with the camera. RM-Lite provides the same basic features as
the RM-64/25/9 product versions, but some of the functionality has be limited, as described below:
„ Functional limitations for RM-Lite
• You can add a maximum of four cameras.
• You can display a maximum of eight video windows in the Viewer. A warning message is displayed if you display nine or
more video windows.
• The maximum frame rate is as follows:
Recording 5 fps or lower (JPEG)
Record Now 5 fps
• The frame rate adjustment feature is always enabled under high load.
• The maximum file size is 1 GB (max. 24 hours).
• You cannot change the [Background] property in the [Layout] properties, and live view is the only playback option.
• You cannot configure the “Organize Layouts” [Each Tag], [All Cameras] and [Recording Cameras].
• AXIS Q7404/Q7401 is not supported.

Storage Server
• MPEG-4 and H.264 recording
• Motion detection recording
• Sensor recording
• Intelligent function recording
• Volume detection recording
• Special Day schedule recording
• Sending e-mail when an event occurs
• Customizing event priority
• Adding user groups and configuring access permissions
Viewer
• Multiple display support
• Layout sequences
• Display of multiple tabs
• Custom grid
• Dynamic layouts
• Searching using camera tags
• Advanced search feature of Event Search
• Event Notification - Operator Notification, Acknowledge Event
• Display of a video window when an event occurs.
RM-Lite is not bundled with the camera.
About RM-Lite
Important
• You cannot install RM-Lite and RM-64/25/9 onto the same computer. Settings also cannot be transferred between the applications. You
will need to redo the settings after an install.
• Files recorded with RM-Lite cannot be played back with RM-64/25/9. Similarly, files recorded with RM-64/25/9 cannot be played back
with RM-Lite.
• An RM-Lite viewer cannot connect to an RM-64/25/9 Storage Server. Similarly, An RM-64/25/9 viewer cannot connect to an RM-Lite
Storage Server.
