Device description
1.1 Scope of the document
These instructions are supplementary to the standard product documentation of the signal
converter. The details depicted therein, in particular the safety information are valid and should
be adhered to. The present supplementary instructions provide additional information for the
devices when being operated and connected to a Foundation Fieldbus.
1.2 Device version
• H250 with indicator M40
• H250 with M40 indicator with display cut-out for ESK4-T
1. H250/RR/M40
• Local indicator without auxiliary power
• max. 2 limit switches, type NAMUR, NAMUR safety-oriented or transistor (3-wire)
• Electrical signal output 4...20 mA, HART

or Fieldbus communication
• Optionally intrinsically safe (Ex i) or in explosion-proof enclosure (Ex d)

• 2 configurable binary outputs, limit value or 10Hz pulse output

• H250F featuring hygienic measuring tube design for Food & Pharma
• H250C with PTFE / TFM liner for aggressive media
INFORMATION!
The present supplementary instruction for the signal converter with Foundation Fieldbus
interface, plus the software with the DD and CCF files are included in our scope of supply, in
addition to those items delivered for the standard device.
