Step 3:

Insert the DVI-I connector

Once the connectors are properly aligned with the

male connector, insert the male connector from the digital display device into the

female connector on the IMB-Q870-i2. See Figure 4-15.

Step 4:

Secure the connector. Secure the DVI-I connector from the digital display

device to the external interface by tightening the two retention screws on either

side of the connector.

4.5.3 HDMI Display Device Connection

The HDMI connector transmits a digital signal to compatible HDMI display devices such

as a TV or computer screen. To connect the HDMI cable to the IMB-Q870-i2, follow the

steps below.

Step 1:

Locate the HDMI connector. The location is shown in Chapter 3.

Step 2:

Align the connector. Align the HDMI connector with the HDMI port. Make sure

the orientation of the connector is correct.
