3.1.4.2 Transceiver Removal
Use the following steps to remove a mini GBIC transceiver (SFP module).
1 Open the transceiver’s latch (latch styles vary).

2 Pull the transceiver out of the slot.

3.1.5 100 Base-FX Fiber-Optic Port
This 100 Base-FX fiber-optic port is only available on the ES-2108-LC.
Note: To avoid possible eye injury, do not look directly into a module’s fiber-optic
connectors. Keep the dust cover on a fiber-optic module until you connect it.
You may need to clean the fiber-optic cable’s connectors with a cotton swab
dipped in alcohol.
