Push the friction pad until it locks
securely.
Important
❒ To be sure the friction pad is set
correctly, gently push it a few
times. If the friction pad re-
bounds with the force of the
spring, the pad has been set cor-
rectly.

Leave the paper tray pulled out
and go to P.9 “Replacing the Paper
Feed Roller”.
