❒ Please refer to the inside of the
front cover of this manual to con-
firm which printer (Type 1 Printer
or Type 2 Printer) you have.
❒ If you set the custom sized paper,
you should specify the paper size
using the printer driver. Also, use
the operation panel to set the cus-
tom size setting.

Open the bypass tray.
Note
❒ If you load paper of A4 L, 8 1 /

11"
L(Letter) or larger, slide
out the bypass tray extender
(
A) and then flip it open (B).

Slide the side guides outwards,
and load paper until it stops with
the print side down.

Adjust the side guides to the pa-
per width.
Important
❒ Make sure the paper fits under
the side guides.

Specify the paper size and feed
direction using the operation
panel as follows.
