Listening to your song

(1) Press the [|ôReset] button to return to the begin-

ning of the song.

(2) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] to start playback.

(3) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] once again to stop playback.

(4) Press [|ôReset] to return to the beginning of the

song.

Note: Do not forget to save your song to disk (see p. 54).

Recording without accompaniment

You can also record your piano (or any other) perfor-
mance without Arranger backing. Here’s how to:

(1) Press the [Piano] button.

The

icon disappears.

(2) If you want to use the metronome, switch on the

[Metronome] button.

The

icon appears in the display and you hear the

metronome sound.

(3) Use the Tempo [+][–] buttons to set the desired

tempo.

(4) Assign the desired Tone to the keyboard.

Press a Tone button and use the [√][®] and [+][–] but-
tons to select a family and a sound within that fam-
ily. See also page 37.

(5) Press the [REC¥∏] button (its indicator flashes).

The display should look as follows:

(The [RECORD≈∏] and [1]~[16] icons as well as the
indicators of the Record/Playback buttons flash.)

Note: When you select “New Song”, the song in the
KR111’s USR memory is erased. You may want to save the
current song first (see p. 54).

(6) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] to start recording (the [REC¥∏]

button lights steadily).
Your solo playing is recorded to track 1, which is
assigned to the [Whole] button. This is also the case if
you record with Arranger backing while the [Split]
indicator is off.

(7) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] to stop recording.

Listening to your song

(1) Press the [|ôReset] button to return to the begin-

ning of the song.

(2) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] to start playback.

(3) Press [Play÷Stop¥®÷ª] once again to stop playback.

(4) Press [|ôReset] to return to the beginning of the

song.

Note: Do not forget to save your song to disk (see p. 54).
