The PC Expanion provides a mechanism for automatically logging on a host
computer without entering a user name and password.

14. How to log in to the host PC automatically

Go to

XP Console>. Go to

Settings>

Select and then double-click the

‘Autologon on the host Station’ on the right side of the window.

Check the “Enable Autologon Mode on Main Station‘ option. Then
type the user ID and the password. Click the button or
button. The PC Expanion is logged on the host PC with the user ID
and the password automatically.

If a user shuts down a host computer while a PC Expanion is connected
to it, a message appears informing the PC Expanion user of the
shutdown. This is to enable a PC Expanion user to save his data when
an administrator shuts down or restarts a host computer. To save the
current work, a PC Expanion user must click the button, save
his data and then click . If there is no data to be saved, click the
button to terminate the connection and allow the shutdown
or restart of the host computer. Click the button to cancel the
shutdown or restart of the host computer.

In this case, the message shown
below appears on the host computer.
To shutdown and restart the host
computer regardless of the currently
connected user, click the Now> button. To cancel the
shutdown or restart, click the
button.
