Paper Handling
Change settings related to the loading of paper in the paper tray or trays. For
more information, see “Understanding the Paper Handling menu” on page 85.
Language
Change the language shown on the control panel.
Country
Change the country or region shown on the control panel to your country or
region.
Key Press Tone
Turn on or off the tone that sounds when a control panel button is pressed.
Screen Saver
Turn the screen saver function on or off.
Power Save
Set the printer to enter a power saving mode after a certain amount of time.
Block Host Settings
Choose to prevent other users, if your printer is connected to several computers,
from changing the printer settings.
Speaker Volume
Set the volume of the speaker during a call. You can set the volume to off or low.
Resetting printer software to factory default settings
For Windows Vista users

Click
Control Panel Printers (under Hardware and Sound).

Right-click the Lexmark 9500 Series icon.

Click Printing Preferences.
The Print Setup tab appears.

From the Printing Preferences toolbar, click Profiles Restore a profile Factory Settings.

Click OK.
For Windows XP or Windows 2000 users

Click Start Settings Printers or Printers and Faxes.

Right-click the Lexmark 9500 Series icon.

Click Printing Preferences.
The Print Setup tab appears.

From the Printing Preferences toolbar, click Settings Load Factory Settings.

Click OK.
Note: Factory default settings cannot be deleted.
