Preparing to Capture an Image

Before capturing images, make sure your camera is ready.

✔ Batteries are inserted (page 2-4) or the Kodak-specified AC adapter is connected

(page 2-9)

✔ A formatted (page 4-4) PC Card is inserted (page 4-2)

✔ The camera is On (page 2-2)

Then do as follows:

Press and release the MENU
button to turn the Image LCD
panel On.

Press and hold the MENU
button and rotate the Main-
Command dial to highlight the
Status display icon.

Release the MENU button.

The Status screen appears.

If the Image LCD panel is
showing the Status screen, you
can quickly press and release
the SELECT button to toggle
between the Status screen and
the single image. Refer to
“Selecting a Review Mode” on
page 9-2.
