Toll Save Sending
If you have set a specific toll save time, you can quickly set your
document(s) to be sent at the preset time using the Toll Save
feature. Using this feature, you can take advantage of lower
long distance rates at night, for example.
1 Load the document you want to send in the Duplex
Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) or on the scanner
glass. See “Loading Document(s) for Faxing” on page 2.3.
2 Make sure that the machine is in the fax idle mode. If
necessary, press Fax to enter the fax idle mode.
3 Press Menu until “Fax Features” appears on the top line of
the display.
4 Press the scroll buttons until “Toll Save” displays on the
bottom line and then press Enter.
5 Select “On” or “Off” using the scroll buttons and press
Enter
.
6 If you select “On”, enter the specific start time using the
number keypad and press Enter to save the settings.
7 Enter the end time and press Enter.
8 Press Start to send the document during the toll save time.
9 The document scanned into memory.
