3 Press the scroll buttons until “Maintenance” displays on the
bottom line and then press Enter.
4 Press the scroll buttons until “Adjust Shading” displays on
the bottom line and then press Enter.
5 You are asked to confirm the selection. Select “Yes.”
6 To return to the idle mode, press Stop/Clear.
Setting to Notify Toner Low
If you have set this Notify Toner Low option to “On”, when the
toner cartridge needs to be replaced, your machine
automatically sends a fax to your service company or the dealer
to notify them that your machine requires a new cartridge.
1 Press Menu until “Sys. Admin Tools” displays on the top
line. Or, press Menu and 0 using the number keypad to
display “Sys. Admin Tools”. If the menu is protected by a
password, you need to enter the password.
2 Press the scroll buttons until “Maintenance” displays on the
bottom line and then press Enter.
3 Press the scroll buttons until “Notify Toner Low” displays on
the bottom line and then press Enter.

Using the scroll buttons, select “On” to enable this feature
and then press Enter.
If you select “Off” you cannot use this feature.
5 Enter your phone number and then press Enter.
6 Enter your name and then press Enter.
7 Enter the service company’s fax number and press Enter.
8 Enter the serial number of your machine and press Enter.
9 To return to the idle mode, press Stop/Clear.
