Misfeed removal
The copier will stop when a misfeed occurs.
The message “
A MISFEED HAS OCCURRED. CLEAR INDICATED AREA.
PRESS FOR RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS. ” will appear with a display
of paper misfeed locations. Press the INFORMATION ( ) key for more
detailed information as necessary.

Misfeed in the upper transport area
1 While holding the finisher release lever, slide the finisher
away from the copier.
2 Remove the misfed paper.
● If the misfed paper is visible at the copier exit area, remove it and
then open and close the front cover to cancel the misfeed
display.
A MISFEED HAS OCCURRED.
CLEAR INDICATED AREA.
PRESS FOR RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS.
