Base station settings
The base station settings are carried out using a registered Gigaset C47H handset.
Protecting against unauthorised access
Protect the system settings of the base station with a system PIN known only to yourself.
You have to enter the system PIN if, among other things, you register and de-register a
handset, change VoIP settings or reset the phone to factory settings.
Changing the system PIN
You have to enter the system pin when, for example, you register a handset with the base
station, change VoIP settings or start the Web configurator.
You can change the base station's 4-digit default system PIN ("0000") to a 4-digit system
PIN known only to yourself.
