Note that when you configure links over a SAN network, the same FCP ports of the storage
disk subsystem may be used for the Global Mirror session communication, as well as for the
Global Copy communication, and for host connectivity. However, for performance reasons,
and to prevent host errors from disrupting your Global Mirror environment, it is often a good
idea to use separate FCP ports.
