Remove the cover from the IBM 2210 as described in “Removing the Cover”
on page 4-2.

Push back the retaining tabs located at each end of the SIMM socket. The
SIMM will fall backwards.

Remove the SIMM by gently pulling it away from you.

Replace the cover on the IBM 2210 as described in “Reinstalling the Cover”
on page 4-4.

Verify that the IBM 2210 is functioning correctly by using “MAP 0210: Verify
Operation” on page 2-23.
