Write Message to Memory +CMGW

Description: This command stores a message in memory (SMS-SUBMIT). The memory location

is returned (no choice possible as with phonebooks +CPBW). A text or Unicode message is
entered as described for the Send Message +CMGS command.
The parameter is optional, it is used to set the length of the text string. When
is specified, the CMGW command will only process the number of bytes specified
by regardless of whether it contains , , or characters.
The parameters and are optional. When not specified, they default as
follows:

Priority: 0 (Normal)
Call back number: Not included in the message.

Values:

: Origination/destination address value in string format.
: Length of the text message (in bytes).
: Message priority:

0 – Normal
1 – Interactive
2 – Urgent
3 – Emergency

: Call Back Number

Syntax:

Command syntax: AT+CMGS= [,] [,] [,]
enter text
Response syntax: +CMGW: or +CMS ERROR: if writing fails

Send Message From Storage +CMSS

Description: This command sends a message stored at location value .

Syntax:

Command syntax: AT+CMSS=[, [,] ]
Response syntax: +CMSS: or +CMS ERROR: if sending fails
If a new recipient address is given, it will be used instead of the one stored with the
message.

For response mode, is the number of SMS messages that have been sent since power
up. The maximum count is 65,535 messages.
Note: If the “FD” facility is enabled, only the entries in the FDN phonebook can be set.
