SECURITY LOCK SET
SETTINGS
Making the following settings prevents the copying of
videos to a CD-R/RW or CompactFlash card for anyone
except the administrator.
z
Set the administrator password.
z
Set COPY TO CD-R/CF to “NO USE”.
z
Set the security lock.

Setting the security lock

With the normal monitoring screen
displayed, press the [
] button for
about 3 seconds.
A confirmation tone sounds, the LOCK/REMOTE
indicator lights, and the security lock is set.

To check the security lock, press any
button.
The password entry screen is displayed for about 5
seconds.

While the password entry screen is
displayed, enter the password.
Enter the password using the [
], [
] and [ ]
buttons.
Enter the password set for administrators or users
(such as “123456AB”).

Press the [ ] button.
The setting is now finished.
The LOCK/REMOTE indicator turns off, and the
display returns to the normal screen.
